Oral Health Therapist


Part-Time, 12-Month Contract


Are you an Oral Health Therapist who loves building genuine connections with patients and creating a calm, positive experience?


At New Leaf Dentists, we believe dentistry should feel different — more relaxed, more personal, and centred around people.


We’re looking for an Oral Health Therapist to join our team on a fixed-term 12-month contract (3–4 days per week), covering maternity leave for one of our much-loved clinicians.


This is an opportunity to step into a well-established patient base within a supportive and close-knit team.



About You


We’re looking for someone who aligns with how we care for our patients — not just what we do clinically.


You might be a great fit if you:


  • Have a warm, calm and friendly chairside manner
  • Enjoy building long-term relationships with patients
  • Communicate with empathy, especially with nervous patients
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality, consistent care
  • Work well within a team and contribute positively to the culture
  • You have at least 2+ years of OHT experience with adult scope
  • Current AHPRA registration and professional insurance


At New Leaf, personality and patient experience matter just as much as clinical skills.



About the Role


You’ll be stepping into a busy and well-supported schedule, providing:


  • Preventive and maintenance care
  • Teeth whitening
  • Children’s dentistry and oral health education
  • Supporting our dentists with orthodontic procedures
  • Hygiene-focused treatment within a collaborative team


You’ll be supported by experienced dental assistants and a front office team who understand the importance of a seamless patient journey.


The Details



  • Fixed-term contract (Maternity Leave Cover)
  • Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension if mutually agreed)
  • Part-time: 3–4 days per week
  • Start date: June 2026
